Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Tesla News Wire ("we," "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit our website.
Information we collect
- Information you provide: If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your message. We use it only to reply and to act on tips or corrections.
- Newsletter signups: If you sign up for our email newsletter, we store your email address, the date and time you signed up and the page you signed up from. We use it only to send you the Tesla News Wire newsletter. We do not sell or share your email address.
- Automatically collected information: Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may log standard data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and referring site.
- Our own visit counter: To understand which stories readers find useful, we count page views with a simple, cookie-free counter. For each view it records only the page, the date and hour, the referring website's domain (for example, google.com) and any campaign tag in the link (such as utm_source). It does not use cookies and does not record your IP address, device identifiers or anything else that identifies you.
Newsletter and unsubscribing
You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing mckennaplasteringsf@gmail.com with "unsubscribe" in the subject line, from the address you signed up with. We will remove you from the list. You can also ask us to delete your signup record entirely.
Cookies and advertising
We may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, measure traffic and show advertising. This site uses Google AdSense to display ads. Google and other third-party ad vendors may place and read cookies, or use web beacons and similar technologies, in your browser to serve and measure those ads.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- For more on how Google uses data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Fonts, saved stories and display settings
Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser sends a request to Google when you visit. If you use the Saved button or the dark-mode switch, the list of saved story IDs and your theme choice are stored only in your own browser's local storage; they are never sent to us.
How we use information
We use information to run and improve the site, respond to messages, understand readership and support the site through advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) may give you the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct it and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email us at mckennaplasteringsf@gmail.com.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
